Document names in Worldox are saved in Description fields on document profiles. Now you can easily change those names in file lists, without editing profiles. Just single click the file, and the file name opens for editing on the list.
If you have ever renamed documents in Windows Explorer, then you will recognize this new feature. It's the same thing.
Just click a file name in any Worldox file list. That highlights (selects) the file:
Now hold the mouse over that highlighted field name, until you see the colored highlight box appear around it:
Single click on that highlight, and the name field opens for editing. Also, two small buttons appear to the right of the field:
Just type in any changes you want to make, then click to the right of the field - or press Enter - to save the change. Or, you can click to close the field and discard any changes made.
You can still rename files by editing profiles. Just select a file on the list, then select Profile on the Edit pull-down menu. That opens the Edit Profile dialog, where you can change the Description field name and save. However, the single-click option is faster since you do not have to edit profile forms and save your changes.
