Avatars are the small symbols used to personalize chat sessions. Avatars appear:
• On taskbar menus of chat sessions:
• At the upper left corner of the Worldox Instant Message and wdIM to dialogs (chat windows):
Every chat user is assigned a default, starting avatar. To personalize chat sessions, you may want to select another avatar. Here is how to do that:
Open the Worldox Instant Message dialog, which should be visible at the lower right of your Windows desktop.
Tip: If the Worldox Instant Message dialog is not visible, click your avatar icon on the right side of the Windows taskbar to reopen it. |
In the Worldox Instant Message dialog:
Click Menu. That opens a menu of chat-related options:
Click the Select Avatar listing. That opens the Browse for Avatar Icon Windows dialog.
In the Browse dialog, select the avatar you want on the right-side scrolling list, then click Open.
That associates the selected icon with your user name. From this point on, your new avatar will appear on chat dialogs and listings.
