Ridgewood, NJ – March 16, 2010 – World Software Corporation® (www.worldox.com) has announced that Salinas, Calif.-based Lombardo & Gilles (www.lomgil.com) has purchased and implemented Worldox®. Worldox is a document management system (DMS) designed to allow for firm-wide sharing, searching and management of documents, e-mails and scanned images.
Lombardo & Gilles Partner Jeff Gilles started looking for a new system to create a more paperless office and also to modernize the firm’s e-mail management system, which was costly, paper intensive and time consuming. The attorneys and staff had exhausted the capabilities of Microsoft Outlook to search for and organize e-mails. And with more than 15 years of documents stored on the firm’s server, Gilles and his team determined that Microsoft search and coding alone could no longer provide an adequate resource for their requirements.
Lombardo & Gilles purchased Worldox GX2 in December 2009 from Baker+Cadence Solutions (www.bakercadence.com) in California, a leading Worldox systems integrator.
